He was born in Galior in 1952. He received National Diploma in Fine Arts, Gwalior in the year 1974 and National Diploma in Sculpture from Govt. Institute of Fine Arts, Gwalior 1978; Former Chief Administrative Officer, Bharat Bhavan, Bhopal; Former Director of Bihar Museum, India.
